It captivates with beautiful views, you can see the traces of Roman, Hellenistic, Islam, Christianity, Greek - Catholic. The island is mainly known for the Hippocratic tree, but it has been researched that this tree is "only" 700 years old, nevertheless, a man commonly regarded as the first physician lived on the island. There is also a temple of Asclepius - the god of medicine. Photos taken with a Nikon SLR camera in June 2015 - that's when refugees started arriving here. The island doesn't look like that anymore. Grecka wyspa Kos na morzu Egejskim, niekiedy nazywana pływającym ogrodem. Urzeka pięknymi widokami, można zobaczyć na niej ślady rzymskie, hellenistyczne, islamu, chrześcijaństwa, grecko - katolickie. Wyspa znana głównie z drzewa Hipokratesa, ale zbadano, że owe drzewo liczy "tylko" 700 lat, nie mniej na wyspie żył człowiek uważany powszechnie za pierwszego lekarza. Jest też tutaj świątynia Asklepiosa - boga sztuki lekarskiej. Zdjęcia zrobione lustrzanką Nikon w czerwcu 2015 roku - wtedy zaczynali przypływać tu uchodźcy. Wyspa już tak nie wygląda.
