Jason wrote the song as a bon voyage tribute for his friend Charlie Wittmack before Charlie departed to compete in The World Triathlon - an extraordinary global endurance challenge that reflects adventure, perseverance and the spirit of exploration.

Jason performed a live-stream concert on February 4, 2026, presented by Live From the Gilded Palace. A founding member and principal songwriter of The Nadas, Jason brought decades of storytelling, road-tested songs and heartfelt performances to the intimate Gilded Palace listening room.
