Race & Equality Cross-Party Group meeting held on Tuesday 23rd November where we were joined by Members of Senedd; Jenny Rathbone and John Griffiths.
This meeting discussed Part 4 of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill, and the potential criminalisation of trespass. Gypsy, Roma and Traveller activists gave powerful testimonies about the concerns of the potential criminalisation of their way of life.
This meeting was held ahead of the Senedd debate on January 11th 2022 to elicit the concerns and priorities directly from the communities affected by this bill.
