Maybe monkey free to see other fruit to get more vitamins.
Maybe banana think she not need to show affection.
Monkey and banana hang out, maybe kiss sometimes, maybe even play a little “jungle gymnastics.”
But no making it official.
No “We’re together.”
Sometimes it seem okay if feelings never labelled, but feelings still happen anyway.
No label not mean no emotion. It often mean confusion instead.
Banana tell herself, “It’s part-time,” but heart still working full-time.
Monkey say “No stress, no mess”.
They might think they on same page, but they in totally different books.
Banana hope things grow naturally like coconuts in the tree.
Monkey hope nothing changes at all, like a calm lake with no ripples.
This is why situationships sometimes get difficult.
When communication bad, it become more of a glitch-ship.
Or a “hope-and-wish”-ship, especially for banana."
