Описание: I bought a ER32 collet chuck and a large 8" backplate to attach it to my threaded spindle (2"-8tpi) on my 14x40 Logan Lathe. I bought the 8" backplate because it was cheap - just $36 off ebay. I did discover some defects in the casting but it shouldn't hurt this application. Now I can mount up small (0.75 inches or less) cylindrical work quickly and be sure they are mounted concentrically! I have a 3-jaw chuck - its quick, but not concentric. I also have a 4-jaw chuck - its concentric if you spend 20-30 mins dialing it in! I am now considering getting a ER40 collet chuck - if I could just find one like this ER32...
