Hyundai, Kia eco-friendly car exports surpassed 200,000 in H1 for the first time

South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor and its affiliate Kia Motors... in the first half of this year... exported more than 200-thousand eco-friendly vehicles for the first time.
According to a report from the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, eco-friendly vehicle exports, including all-electric and hybrid cars,... came to just under 225-thousand, an increase from a year earlier of 30-point-6 percent.
The increase was led by Hyundai's first all-electric Ioniq 5, and Kia's EV-6.
Based on this performance, for the year as a whole, the report projected their exports to surpass 400-thousand for the first time.
