The Ycsc (Yale Child Study Center) Affective Youth, i.e., the YAY Lab, is a research lab at the Yale Child Study Center. Their goal is to understand the neural mechanisms of irritability and emotion dysregulation. Understanding these mechanisms can inform how and why irritability develops. They use various techniques such as functional neuroimaging and behavioral tasks to explore this topic.
