Filmed on the 1st April 2022.
I completed a wonderful circular hike from Pelter Bridge car park, approx 5.5 miles/8.8 Km. I explored the Rydal Caves and Loughrigg Fell. It was a very enjoyable hike, the weather conditions were good considering the time of year.
Here is a link for the route. However, I recommend doing it clockwise. That way the caves are near the end and something to look forward to. If you can't access the link, let me know and I'll send you the GPX file.

Car parking is pay and display, fills us quickly. I arrived at 8.30am and was the first car in but by the end of my hike, it was completely full. For an exact location use What3Words ///circles.ponies.fights
What3Words is more precise than a postcode.
