Iranian Singer Tataloo Sentenced to Death for Blasphemy

Описание: Popular Iranian singer Amir Hossein Maghsoudloo, known as Tataloo, has been sentenced to death for blasphemy following an appeal by Iran’s Supreme Court. The underground artist, known for his unique blend of rap, pop, and R&B, was convicted of insulting Islam’s Prophet Mohammed. This comes after a previous five-year jail sentence for blasphemy was overturned. Tataloo, who had been living in Istanbul since 2018, was extradited to Iran in 2023 and has remained in detention since. The sentence is not yet final and can still be appealed.
