Sure, ballets seem so effortless when we, as audience, watch the dancers. But the hours of rehearsal that lead up to the moment are often long and repetitive in nature as each dancer learns to put the steps of choreography together into what will be the final result the audience will see.
In this rehearsal I sat in on, and of which I shot a bit of video, it is the TPB Masters Workshop 2013 underway with Master Choreographer John Clifford setting his piece BOLERO on the dancers. Especially fitting to watch this process with the world-famous "Bolero" from Ravel as a soundtrack. That music is possibly one of which NOBODY tires.
Many hours but ultimately so gratifying!
