It provides a good mix of mountain living with large retailer conveniences like grocery stores, vets, coffee places, fast food, and many excellent small business restaurants. Living in these neighborhoods you get to live in a more lush nature escape while still having a few neighbors or many neighbors depending on the parcel you pick. The neighborhoods have mountains views, lakes, elk, and other local wildlife that add to its appeal. This drive we took after a snowfall and a few sunny days had passed. The beautiful white bright snow pops the houses and the mountain peaks against the sunny days bright blue sky. The weather was that perfect window down breeze and it was such a lovely drive. Evergreen is known to have a healthy herd of Elk that wander the area and we loved popping over to roll through the roads and see if we could find them; giant nature hide and seek. We were not always successful but it was so fun when we were and the excitement of watching for them made the drives even more enjoyable.
