Hike to AMAZING narrow slot canyon in Utah. ZEBRA CANYON

Описание: Zebra Canyon is about 5.5 miles out and back hike to narrow slot canyon from the trailhead. The trailhead is located near the small town of Escalante, Utah. Traveling from Escalante on SR-12 about 10 miles, you will turn right onto a gravels road, Hole in the Rock Road.(There is a big BLM campground at the turn off, SR12 and Hole in The Rock Road.)

From the turn off to the trailhead is about 8 miles. It took me over half an hour because of the gravels road. It may not be passable if it's raining. There is a big parking lot on the right, no restroom.

The trail is easy to follow on certain area, but little harder in area. There were cairns along the trail just be on the look out for that. I downloaded a gps to my phone with Alltrails app, which helped. When you reach a big water hole( the last frame in the video), you reached the end and turn around.

My recommendations:
1. download a gps to app like Alltrail, it's free.
2. Go early to avoid the heat and crowd
3. Wear long pant and long sleeves
4. Check weather, you don't to be trap in canyon during a storm
5. Take sunglasses and mask to cover your mouth( keep from eating sand)
