After 30 Years Jar Jar Is Back, And He Might Be Getting His Redemption!

I mean, this guy here had a speaking style that was over-engineered to be funny, alien, and childlike, complete with his consistent broken grammar, silly vocabulary, and musical delivery. But, even if you ignore this over-the-top comic relief, he is responsible for single-handedly pushing the empire to grow into this devastating force when he proposes that Palpatine be given emergency powers, which he then used to further his nefarious plans. Many see Jar Jar as the biggest contributing factor behind the issues that marred the three prequel Star Wars films, and the resulting hate was so profound that actors like Natalie Portman and even Jar Jar’s voice actor Ahmed Best went into depression and faced their lowest points in life. Although Ahmed Best later played another character of Master Beq, Jar Jar needed redemption, and Ahmed knew it. This seems to be the sole reason why he is co-writing a whole new Jar Jar comic book along with Marc Guggenheim. And let’s face it, Star Wars is known for its redemption arcs, and it seems that the new Jar Jar comics will fix things.
