Orientation was online last year so accessible remotely. It is usually the Tuesday before classes when it has been in person. This year may be hybrid. More info will go to new students in May, 2021.

How many Computer Science courses can ECE student take? 9 credits in CSE can be counted towards the ECE MS.

If international students are within the US already, they have until July 13 to submit proof of ability to pay/funding.
MS Degree Requirements: https://ece.osu.edu/master-science-de... Non-thesis students need to take at least 15 letter-graded ECE grad classes which includes 6 credits of 6000-level and ECE 6070. 9 credits can be taken outside of ECE in a related field if approved by the faculty advisor. Ethics is a 1 credit non-letter graded. 5 more non-letter graded credits totals 30. A student is not required to take 5 non-letter graded. 5 credits of letter-graded ECE grad classes can be substituted for them. (this questions was asked at 8:04 on the transcript)

How is the industry base in Columbus for ECE (specifically in Power Electronics & control) domain? ECE has a partnership with the local American & Electric Power Co (AEP) located in Columbus. Faculty from that area have industry partners in addition to AEP. Dr. Jin Wang is one of the top 5 faculty in the world in the area of power, according to Dr. Agarwal.
Graders are now called Teaching Assistants and paid hourly. Dr. Lisa [email protected] sends a call for applications in autumn and spring semesters. You can contact her for more information.
GTA are more interactive to support labs and also referred to as Teaching Fellows. More information will be shared at orientation
Some faculty are using a software called Handshake to post research openings. Students can go to the Engineering Career Services site for more info about that and internships, etc.
