গাজায় ইসরায়েলি গণহত্যার প্রতিবাদ জানাতে গিয়ে বিদেশি ব্র্যান্ডের দেশীয় প্রতিষ্ঠানে হামলা লুটপাটের ঘটনা পরিকল্পিত বলে মনে করে সরকার। পররাষ্ট্র উপদেষ্টা বলেছেন, লুটপাট কোনো প্রতিবাদের ভাষা নয়। এ ঘটনায় জড়িতদের কেউ ছাড় পাবে না বলে জানিয়েছেন স্বরাষ্ট্র উপদেষ্টা। জানান, ভবিষ্যতে এ ধরনের ঘটনা প্রতিরোধে সচেষ্ট থাকবে সরকার। বলেন, পহেলা বৈশাখের অনুষ্ঠান নিয়ে কোনো নিরাপত্তা হুমকি নেই। অন্যদিকে, সংস্কৃতি উপদেষ্টা জানিয়েছেন, বৈশাখের শোভাযাত্রার নাম কী হবে তা ঠিক করবে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ।
