Despite it often seen as being an integral part of Elvis set list the majority of his renditions took place during 1972, 1976 and 1977. In fact, of the 101 known complete renditions, only nine took place in the three years between 1972 and 1976 and these versions are the focus of this compilation.
It should also be noted that Elvis attempted a rendition in the Omaha Civic Auditorium on 30 June 1974 but gave up before singing a note as Glen Hardin constantly repeated the intro. It seems tat they could not locate the lyric sheet for Elvia and so had to move on.
Please note that version six has very poor audio but is included so that no rendition has been omitted!
