Here are a few things to remember while using retinol

➡️Applying retinol the correct way is important.
Retinol can cause irritation, redness and flaking. Protecting corners of eyes, nose and mouth is important especially if you have dry or sensitive skin or tendency to darken in these areas.

➡️Always start slow with retinol. Start with once or twice a week and if you can tolerate, you can use it everyday.

➡️Retinol should always be used at night. Remember to use a moisturiser on top and a sunscreen in the daytime.

➡️Do not apply Vaseline jelly or do slugging over retinol as this can irritate your skin.
