This is an unbiased ranking of the passes encountered on the John Muir Trail if you are hiking Northbound or NOBO by difficulty. The John Muir trail covers 211 miles from Yosemite Valley to Mt. Whitney, through the region commonly referred to as the High Sierra, which contains some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the country.
To make this list, I used Gaia GPS to get the distance, elevation gain, top out elevation, and steepness for each pass before ranking them.
