What’s happening in this Mallrats movie clip?
Brandi Svenning (Claire Forlani) is a contestant on Truth or Date, her father's dating game show. She has to ask questions to three mysterious suitors before choosing her favorite. What she doesn’t know is that her ex-boyfriend (Jeremy London) and his best friend (Jason Lee) have managed to replace two of the suitors.

What’s the movie Mallrats about?
Jason Lee, Shannen Doherty and Ben Affleck take on the mall in this funny, crude and screamingly offensive comedy. From Kevin Smith, the acclaimed director of Clerks, comes the outrageous story of two loafers who spend way too much time hanging out at the mall.
College student T.S. Quint is planning a trip to Universal Studios Florida with his girlfriend, Brandi Svenning (Claire Forlani), during which he intends to propose to her. However, she tells him she cannot go due to having volunteered to fill in as a contestant on Truth or Date, her father's dating game show. Their discussion quickly turns into a dispute and even ends up in a break-up. T.S. then joins his best friend Brodie Bruce, who has just broken up with his girlfriend too, and Brodie suggests they go to the local mall to forget their problems. There, they meet numerous quirky characters such as the local slackers Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith) or even legendary comic writer Stan Lee!
