High availability for Azure SQL Managed Instance with a DEMO

Описание: Learn about high availability (HA), how it's designed and achieved for General Purpose (GP) and Business Critical (BC) services tiers of Azure SQL Managed Instance. We'll also explain in this video how Zone Redundancy fits into the HA story. We'll also show a demo of how an Azure SQL Managed Instance failover event (a restart) affects an application with built-in retry logic. See the demo to find out what was the duration of down time for GP and BC. We'll show another demo - how a scaling operation that's changing SQL MI service tier, vCore count and reserved storage size affects the application using the SQL MI.
