The KATSEYE member announced that she would be taking a “temporary hiatus” from the girl group “to focus on her health and wellbeing.” The group shared in a post on X Feb. 20, “We fully support this decision,” adding that they remain “committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us.” Manon’s fellow KATSEYE members including Yoonchae, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Sophia Laforteza and Megan Skiendiel confirmed the group would “continue scheduled activities during this time” and were looking “forward to being together again when the time is right.” Manon—who became part of KATSEYE when the group was formed on Netflix’s 'Popstar Academy' in 2024—has previously shared how thankful she is to be surrounded by such a caring group of women. “The biggest thing is we’re constantly supporting each other,” the 23-year-old told Live From E!: Grammys. “That’s the one thing. Just constantly making sure that we’re all coming up on this crazy journey together and that we’re not leaving anybody behind.
