$35 Craigslist find, did not have a front drawer cover. Modified an Ebay front cover to work. but there was a color mismatch, so I decided to refinish it (twice). I know...I know, 'I ruined it!' stop yelling at me. It works for what I need and I think it looks great. It is in really great shape including the original leather top handle, top lid support arm, and all the drawers work perfectly. the were really built well... like a mechanic made them ;)
I am the third owner (father+son before me), maybe I can pass it down as well.
PS: Kennedy is still in business today, since 1911 and has a 520B model like this today.
I figure its better than sitting forgotten and unused, without knowing this chests history, even if I did redo the exterior finish.
