Cathy Martin, All About Intervision: Group Support, Mentorship and Supervision with an SF Twist! Transform Your Practice Forever.
Presentation with Q and A PLUS live practice with the group.
Since the early days of Solution Focused Practice (SFP), there has been a steady and exciting expansion in where and how it’s used. A place SFP truly shines, is in group mentorship, coaching, and supervision.
Across many professions and settings; supervision, coaching, and mentoring are highly valued and often mandatory. Yet what really makes the difference is not whether these conversations happen, but how. When peer group support processes are relevant, accessible, responsive and timely, they do more than meet professional requirements: they build learning, connection, confidence and hope.
Over 20 years ago, Harry Norman described a six-step Solution Focused framework for group supervision used by UK counsellors. Since then, practitioners and facilitators around the world have continued to adapt and refine Solution Focused approaches to group supervision, coaching, and mentoring; bringing both creativity and rigour to their work.
One particularly striking development is the Solution Focused professional peer-group Intervision model, strongly developed by Paut Struik and used internationally in organisational and training contexts. Clear, practical and elegantly Solution Focused, this model provides a gold standard for peer-group learning and reflection.
In this interactive and friendly presentation, we’ll explore the six-step Intervision model together - sharpening peer-group skills, reflecting on real practice.
And if time allows, step into a live Intervision experience.
Arrive curious.
Leave resourced.
Take something useful back to your practice
