Fred Again.. at Alpine Valley Music Venue in East Troy was absolutely breathtaking. This was my first time at the venue, and I was surprised by the almost camping-like setup in the parking lot—it reminded me a lot of Burning Man. Everyone was grilling, listening to music, and vibing together. I showed up around 3:30, planning to take a quick nap in my car, but I ended up meeting some homies (Demi, Sarah, and Nick) who parked next to me, and we kicked it until the gates opened.

When the gates finally opened, Sarah and I sprinted down this steep incline to make it to the rail—totally worth it. While I was up there, I met some amazing people. Vladyslav was right next to me, and we had a deep conversation about life and what’s happening in his country, Ukraine. It breaks my heart to think about the pain in the world, and it’s a reminder to cherish every single moment we have.

Fred Again..’s set was nothing short of spectacular. This was my second time seeing him live (the first was Lolla), and this performance easily topped it. The whole experience was beyond words, and I’m so grateful to have been there to witness the love and connection that music brings. Life is so precious, and I’m really focusing on living in the present more—everything feels so fixated on the future or the past, but the present is all that is.

I love living, I love connection, and I love live music. Fred and Tony are absolute legends. Thank you both for such an unforgettable experience.
