Delhi HC Slams CJP | European Student Stir | Saurav Das | Ashutosh Ranka | Dipke | CEC Protest

Описание: A special bench of the High Court raised questions regarding the custody, motives, and intentions behind the protest led by CGP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. Pulling up both leaders over their ages of 31 and 27, the bench questioned their association with protests labelled as Gen Z. The court highlighted the breaking of barricades at a denotified site, breach of signed peace bonds, and repeated calls for regime change. Citing student protests across European countries like France and Italy that escalated into violence and arson, the court underscored the necessity of taking police into confidence to control potential unrest during agitations against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the SIR issue. The leaders have now withdrawn their plea.
