How & Where to use Zinc Oxide Eugenol

Описание: Waldent Zinc Oxide Powder is designed to formulate temporary dressings. Mixed with eugenol, it can be used for indirect pulp capping and for the preparation of temporary cement. It is compatible with hard and soft tissues of the mouth. ZOE cement is least irritating to the pulp has an obtundant or sedative effect.

INDICATIONS :-

Used for temporary dressing.
Mixed with eugenol and is used as a temporary cement for temporary cementation of crown and bridges.
Ideal cavity liner under most restorative materials.

Eugenol
Waldent Eugenol is mixed with zinc oxide powder and mainly used as a temporary filling
material during root canal procedure, temporary cavity fllings, or as a lining/dressing under
non-composite dental restorations.

Indications:

For temporary dressings
As a cavity base/liner under non-resin restorations
Temporary fillings to last for less than one year
Contraindications:

This product should not be used with individuals with known sensitivities to Eugenol.
Eugenol & zinc oxide paste is contraindicated for direct application of pulp tissue (direct pulp
capping).
Eugenol in combination with zinc oxide is contraindicated as a base under resin-containing
adhesives or restorative cement because eugenol may interfere with the hardening and/or
cause softening of the resin components.
