Exploring The Cotswolds In England - Tetbury And Westonbirt Arboretum

Описание: A trip to Tetbury and Westonbirt Arboretum in the Cotswolds part of England over the Easter weekend. Tetbury is a small town in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire.

The Cotswolds is an area of England, about 800 square miles which is famous for pretty little villages, bustling market towns and beautiful countryside, hills and landscapes.

Just south of Tetbury is Westonbirt - The National Arboretum.
Trees from around the world were first planted in the 1850s by the Victorian landowner Robert Holford and now there are over 15,000 trees around from the world including Britain, China, North America, Japan and Chile.

Westonbirt Arboretum is now run by the Forestry Commission and is open every day except Christmas Day.
