Описание: With its high-insulation class, PALFINGER enables work on systems under high voltage.
With a maximum working height of 65 metres and a range of 27 metres, the P650i compact access platform enables workers to carry out tasks on high-voltage power lines. Not only is it highly flexible, but its low set-up height of less than 10 metres means it can be deployed beneath low obstacles. What's more, the working range -- with its 200° tiltable range from the rotary table on a small stabiliser surface -- can even cope with tough set-up conditions.
Given the high-voltage working conditions, safety is of course a top priority.
This is ensured by a number of elements, ranging from the jib boom made from UV-resistant, glass-fibre-reinforced plastic that offers insulation protection for up to 500,000 V and dielectric strength in accordance with ANSI 92.2, to a large inspection window for everyday inspection of the valves and the hydraulic and glass-fibre lines, as well as an extra-large corona ring containing all inspection points. The standard safety elements also include a visual and acoustic leakage current monitoring unit as well as an additional emergency operating element.
P650i comes with two main control panels. Both operating units continuously display the current operating condition. The information is visually displayed on the control unit in the workman basket by means of LED lamps, while a graphic colour display at the base facilitates guidance through the individual work steps.
The stepless speed control feature of the electronically controlled proportional controller ensures the necessary level of sensitivity and precision when the workman basket approaches confined working areas between power lines.
However, the P650i access platform does not fall short when it comes to efficiency either. For example, automatic levelling of the access platform saves time and ensures accurate alignment on the ground. In any case, continuous ground pressure monitoring allows operation of the access platform only under absolutely stable conditions
Once work has been completed, the PALFINGER home function enables the access platform to be folded down quickly and easily.
The P650i access platform comes with a range of further add-on solutions. For example, the PALFINGER insulated washer comprising two pressure stages of approximately 40 and 60 bar enable live components to be safely cleaned using a water jet measuring 10 to 15 metres in length. The conductivity of the water is continuously monitored in the process. In case of imminent danger, an acoustic and visual warning signal is given. In some cases, the device is even automatically switched off. An acoustic warning signal is given when the water level gets low too.
The material handler supports operation high up in the air with two mechanical extension levels. This allows it to lift and position loads such as insulators weighing up to 250 kg. The auxiliary unit with a rope length of around 58 metres is just as compactly integrated in the workman basket as the hydraulic connection couplings, which supply the hydraulically driven tool and are activated via the control panel.
