The Public Service Union is joining the NTUCB in calling on the Minister of Labor to do his job. The unions are up in arms over what they say is a deliberate undermining of workers’ rights. On Wednesday, the NUTCB raised concerns over the Tripartite Body, which has not met in over a year. The group works to promote tripartism including the certification of Trade Unions, enforcement of Collective Bargaining Agreements, and coordinating the recognition and enforcement of ratified ILO Conventions. PSU President, Dean Flowers, explained that, in his opinion, labor-related issues have not been taken seriously under the current administration.
