Presenting our video of Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Training by Autism Bedfordshire. Created and produced with autistic people and people with a learning disability. This training program is named in honour of Oliver McGowan, a young man whose tragic death highlighted the critical need for health and social care staff to improve their skills, knowledge, and understanding of the needs of autistic individuals and those with learning disabilities.
We provide two different tiers of training. Both Tier 1 and Tier 2 are interactive and delivered by a training trio consisting of a person with a learning disability, an autistic person, and a facilitator
