Proposal: WNDR Video Transmission Technology
(World's First, Highest Performance Ultra Low Latency, Patent Technology)
Delays in existing remote video monitoring processes have multiple causes.
We want to discuss delays that occur during the process of video compression captured by the camera, network transmission, decoding at the receiving end, buffering, and display.
Currently, in video monitoring and control systems, video, audio, and various sensor values are being used without proper synchronization. You are monitoring unnatural videos due to accumulated delays through camera delays, codec delays, network delays, and buffering delays before display.
However, this is taken for granted and there is no thought of solving the problem. Ultra-low latency has become an issue in autonomous vehicle remote monitoring/control, real-time control for resolving robot default states, drones, and other applications. By applying the WNDR video transmission technology provided by Waveor Systems, you can minimize delays and check the delay levels for each section.
Our WNDR CODEC technology is as follows:
1. When connecting a WNDR Tx board to analog cameras such as AHD / TVI / SD / SDI, the WNDR CODEC Tx board compresses and transmits the camera video using our patented WNDR technology. At the receiving end, you can connect the WNDR CODEC Rx board and monitor for video viewing and recording to NVR.
2. For existing network cameras, we implement ultra-low latency cameras by changing the driver level software inside the camera's SoC to WNDR method, without hardware modification.
3. Common features:
1) WNDR CODEC provides Dual Streaming
2) Existing H.264/265 is used for storage
3) WNDR video is used for viewing
4) Expected benefits: This shows results that enable control without delay when viewing and controlling video remotely.
5) In the case of PTZ cameras, when controlling while viewing video, operators can achieve smooth control easily.
6) In the case of door phones, delays occur from when the intercom is pressed until the video appears on the monitor.
4. Proposal: With the advancement of existing cameras and network environments, various camera applications are emerging.
1) Delays have become an issue in robot eyes, drone cameras, existing security/surveillance CCTV, defense, and facility monitoring.
This applies to all cases of controlling while viewing video remotely.
2) Solving the delay problem will become a KPI in the new roadmap for cameras.
3) With network advancements, delay issues are becoming even more significant.
4) We have solved this delay problem with WNDR CODEC technology. Please refer to the attachment for detailed technical information.
5) This is a proposal to create a Blue Ocean market together with ultra-low latency cameras as a CCTV roadmap and build an ultra-low latency ecosystem together.
