An educational trip to Rashtrapati Bhavan was organized by Cantonment board for 30 students, accompanied by three teachers. The trip began at 4:45 a.m. from the Asha school premises. The group traveled together with great enthusiasm and reached Rashtrapati Bhavan at 12:00 p.m.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. They learned about the historical background of the building, which was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens during the British era and later became the residence of the President after India gained independence.
The students were guided through important sections of the premises, where they observed the grand architecture, beautiful gardens, and significant halls such as the Durbar Hall, Ashoka Hall, and the Amrit Udayan. They gained knowledge about the importance of these places in hosting official ceremonies, award functions, and national events. The visit also helped them understand the cultural, political, and historical importance of Rashtrapati Bhavan in India’s governance.
The trip was highly educational and inspiring for the students. It enhanced their understanding of India’s history, democratic system, and national heritage. Seeing such an important national monument in person helped develop a sense of pride, respect, and responsibility toward the country among the students. The visit also encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and discipline, as students followed guidelines and participated actively throughout the tour.
Overall, the educational visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan was a memorable and enriching experience for all participants. It successfully combined learning with practical exposure, leaving a lasting impression on the students.
