Descript-Style Text-Based Editing in DaVinci Resolve (Works with Free Version)

Описание: In this demo, I show how the PostFlux plugin that brings text-based editing into DaVinci Resolve Free version. The plugin lets you edit talking head footage just like a text document. It can help with speech-heavy videos like podcasts, interviews, tutorials and talking-head content.

Instead of scrubbing through the whole timeline manually, you can load a transcript and search through the text to remove pauses, filler words and repeated sentences. You can also seamlessly restore previous editing sessions, so you do not lose your progress. Once the text editing is done, apply those transcript edit decisions back to the DaVinci Resolve timeline.

This is not a polished “perfect product” demo. PostFlux is still in beta and I’m actively improving it based on editors' feedback. But the goal is simple: make rough cuts faster inside DaVinci Resolve, especially for creators and editors who want a Descript-style workflow without leaving Resolve.
