Belleville, Ohio has a special place in railroad history. Still home to major railroad junctions, and popular with railfans, it has a long history with the Mad River and Nickel Plate Railroads. Today, it's home to the Mad River & NKP Museum, and is home to steam and diesel locomotives, various other rolling stock, and a surprising number of other railroad artifacts.
Join me as I explore the museum's impressive collection.
Unfortunately, their big steam locomotive wasn't available (it's having some cosmetic restoration work done), so I'll have to go back for that.
