Stephen G. Post, Ph.D., is the Director of the Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics at the Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine. He cofounded the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love. He is the author of several books, including Why Good Things Happen to Good People: How to Live a Longer, Happier, Healthier Life by the Simple Act of Giving, has authored over 400 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has been interviewed by leading newspapers around the world. Dr. Post is an elected member of the Philadelphia College of Physicians, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the Royal Society of Medicine, as well as a Founding Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion. He is the recipient of dozens of awards, including the 2019 National Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society Professionalism Award. Dr. Post lives in Long Island, NY.

Victor Chan, together with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, co-founded the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education in Vancouver in 2005 to promote compassion and secular ethics in education. He also co-authored The Wisdom of Forgiveness and The Wisdom of Compassion with the Dalai Lama, drawing from their decades of dialogue and shared journeys. Chan is the author of the Tibet Handbook: A Pilgrimage Guide, a 1,104-page reference widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive Western guides to Tibetan sacred geography. Born in Hong Kong and educated in Canada and the U.S., he began his career in particle physics before turning to intercultural and spiritual work rooted in compassion and deep inquiry.
