Lots to talk about for this one so lets get into it shall we?

New Acoustic Guitar (Martin Custom X-000CE):
Needed an acoustic guitar for the studio for those songs where it just calls for one. Never had one of my own, always had to have someone bring in one. Went to Guitar Center on my birthday and sat and played a few guitars in my budget that struck my interest. I was drawn to this guitar and the sound it made with a pick. Very articulate and not too boomy (perfect for recording).

New Electric Guitar (1988 Gibson SG '62 Reissue):
Originally wasn't planning on buying this guitar, but was watching it on Reverb for about a month. Talked back and forth with the seller and what not and eventually the price just kept trickling down till it got to the price I was gonna originally offer the guy. So I told myself that if nobody picked it up by my birthday that it was meant to be and it was coming home with me. You can probably guess what happened.

Improved Video Quality:
Bought a new camera (Panasonic LUMIX FZ80) and a studio lighting kit to try to take my videos to the next level. The camera's on smartphones nowadays are crazy good (and I would have taken that money to upgrade phones for a better camera) but I also needed extra storage capacity because my phone is full of music and what not, so it just made more sense to get a dedicated camera.
