Описание: ভয়াবহ দাবানলে ৭৬ হাজারের অধিক এলাকাজুড়ে ছড়িয়ে পরা আগুনে পুড়ছে অস্ট্রেলিয়ার বিখ্যাত ফ্রেজার আইল্যান্ড। অগ্নিকান্ড থেকে রাখা পেতে দ্বীপটি ছেড়ে পালাচ্ছে বাসিন্দারা। আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনতে লড়াই চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে দমকল কর্মীরা।

রয়টার্স জানায়, আবহাওয়ার অবস্থা বেগতিক হওয়ায় এরইমধ্যে কয়েকজন পর্যটককে দ্বীপটি থেকে সরিয়ে নেয়া হয়েছে। গেল শনিবার থেকে আগুন নেভাতে প্রায় ১০ লাখ লিটারের বেশি পানি এবং জেল ঢালা হয়েছে বলে তথ্য দিয়েছে কুইন্সল্যান্ড রাজ্যের দমকল বিভাগ। বর্তমানে তীব্র দাবদাহের মধ্যে দিয়ে যাচ্ছে দেশটি।
