What this remote control is
This is a Panasonic VIERA TV remote control.
It’s a genuine Panasonic remote, designed for Panasonic VIERA LCD and Plasma TVs, mainly from the late-2000s to early-2010s era.
You can tell by:
• The Panasonic branding,
• The VIERA Link button (HDMI-CEC control),
• The classic Panasonic direction pad with OK button,
• The coloured red, green, yellow, blue function keys,
• And the layout typical of Panasonic TVs before smart remotes became simpler.
What type of TV it comes from
This remote was supplied with:
• Panasonic VIERA Plasma TVs, and
• Panasonic VIERA LCD TVs
It was commonly used with:
• 32” to 50” Panasonic VIERA sets,
• Models with Freeview, VIERA Link, and basic smart features (not Android).
It is infrared (IR), not Bluetooth or RF.

Description (YouTube / website)
This video shows how to clean and restore a Panasonic VIERA TV remote control that has become dirty and unreliable over time.
Grease, dust, and general grime can build up inside remote controls, causing buttons to stop responding or work intermittently.
In this video, I take the remote apart, clean the buttons and contacts properly, and show how to reassemble it safely.
This method works for many Panasonic remotes and other TV remote controls with similar construction.
