Two years ago, Kim lost more than 100 pounds. This left her lighter, more fit, but with excess skin and sagging. She found Dr. Schlesinger, a board certified plastic surgeon serving Oahu, Kona and Maui and together they came up with a plan to rejuvenate her breasts. Kymer flew from Kona to Oahu to have her breast reduction, breast lift (mastopexy) and breast augmentation (breast implants). She recovered and was off pain medication after three days and just recently ran her very first 5k race.

My name is Kim and I had a reduction, lift and augmentation. I was in desperate need of a lift after losing over 100 pounds two years ago.

It was a big thing. I had, honestly, if I was standing outside of a bra, I needed the lift. It makes you feel more comfortable, my self image was very low and after having the lift and the breast augmentation, it just helped my self confidence. I'm more active. I did my first 5k last March.

He just really listened to you from the first initial consultation to the whole procedure. He includes you and your other, significant other in my case, my husband.

I live here in Kona so you come here to his office here in Kona. You do the pre-op and all the appointments. Then, once you get to Oahu, we came the night before, the scheduling nurse called you to make sure that you're following all the procedures, very detailed. Just to make sure everything was going right.

It was very successful. I'm so happy with them. And it just gave me a better self image and self confidence in my life.

He also listens to your concerns. Being 100 pounds over weight always equated big boobs with being overweight in my mind. So I was really concerned. I didn't want to have the big boobs and he really listened to you. He's amazing.
