1.8L LOTUS ELISE - QUICKEST LOTUS IN THE WORLD

Lee Connor in his Lotus Elise was at the Doorslammers event at Santa Pod Raceway. These little Elise's run a 1.8 K series engine, and Lee has been tuning his over the last two years. 1st goal was 10's, then 9's, and he has now run a PB of 8.92 @ 151mph and backed it up with an 8.97 @ 156mph. The best run I managed to film over the weekend was a 9.44 @ 141mph, although details of his quicker times are on his FB page.
New goal ---- 8.50 @ 165mph !!!!
