Whoopa Golf: I wish I played this format years ago!
Having been a keen golfer for many years, my love for golf really reignited again last year in 2020. I started the 2021 season with a handicap of 6.6 on the New World Handicap System and I have managed to lower that to 5.5.
After a really good hole, golf seems so easy then by the next hole it can seem impossible. All I am after is what I call the perfect round of 'Whoopa Golf'... A great round of golf is a series of moments, all added up. Join me then, in the search for those moments, that all add up to golfing euphoria
In this video I am joined by Martin Giertsen and we play the Championship golf course of Hauger, just north of Oslo in Norway. Playing in my first ever scramble, these 9 holes, gave me a new confidence for the rest of the season!
If I can play this well in a 2 ball, surely I can play this well on my own, without any stress! If you are not playing well, play a different format, that's the Whoopa Mentality! I just wish I tried this years ago......
