‘Getting Support Saved My Life’
Meet 43-year-old Andrew from North Shields.
Last year, he was referred to @jamesplace after he found himself in a mental health crisis with plans to end his own life.
Now, on #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, he's shared his story in the hope of inspiring others to speak to someone, and access the help and support available across our region.
Thanks to James’ Place, Andrew received therapy that helped to save his life and is now working to set up in business as a photographer.
