I asked my dad about his passing the James Dean Car Crash back in 1955. His memory about the highway numbers is marginal. I am not sure all the highways but today it would 33 to 46 to 101 which was a common route back then. I am not sure the "Santa" town he mentions. He recalls James Dean blowing by them on 33 then later passing the car crash. He says Dean was already removed by the time he got there.
Dad has cancer and is being treated with chemo therapy and takes some pain pills which makes him a little fuzzy sometimes.
I was holding the cell camera on my leg listening to my Dad. I did not realize it was slowing moving up.
