To the deadliest place on Earth! ...Oh yeah then fight a god.
Don’t worry, there’s a speedrun race on Savanna Citadel so that way we have some fun at the end.
Truly, this game was a blast...up until the end. That was a slog. Boss fights have sadly never been a strong point in Sonic.
I think the part structure worked well with this game, though there were a few points where the release schedule was really tight (such as this one. Yes it is my fault for deciding to spend half a day implementing a joke less than 24 hours before the video has to go live. But it was funny, right?) As I said, it’s not something I intend to do every time, but ended up being necessary since I didn’t expect the game to be this long. I’m used to Sonic games lasting less than 10 hours.
Anyways, I did actually get a new GPU just this past week! So hopefully recording and encoding issues are a thing of the past now and this game is the last victim.
