Описание: How to handle getting blacklisted by an Employer
What to do when you've been Blacklisted

Sometimes, having the courage to ask a recruiter, interviewer or head-hunter why you couldn’t the get the job is key to finding out if you’ve been blacklisted by your former employer or not.
Other times too, reading between the lines can help you figure out why you can’t get a job; reflecting on past issues and putting things together is all it takes to find out that you have been blacklisted.
Getting blacklisted by a former employer can be damaging to your career plans since it means you wouldn’t be able to get another job at your level quite easily if not at all. Let’s look at 3 ways some individuals get into a hiring blacklist.
Being dishonest: Concealing relevant information about yourself or lying about your educational/ professional background, etc.
Being unprofessional or constantly forgetting your manners: If such an attitude costs the company a couple of huge deals or projects, that’ll infuriate them enough to put you in a blacklist making sure you don’t get another job
Committing a workplace crime such as embezzlement: This is self-explanatory, right?
In some cases, some people are unfortunate to get blacklisted because their former is doing that as an act of revenge for something that happened that they are not ready to forgive the unfortunate employee for. Some people may find it hard to believe but people are very mean remember?
The good thing about getting blacklisted is that it is not a death sentence. You can get your career back in no time if you act quickly and swiftly. Whether you were the cause of the issue or not.
Below is how to recover from getting wrongfully blacklisted by your former employer.
Reach out to your former employer for an appointment to settle issues
If nothing great comes out of the meeting, get a lawyer to help you draft and send a warning letter instructing your former employer to quit what they are doing
If your former employer doesn’t heed the warning, legal actions should follow
If on the other hand, your actions got you blacklisted, it’ll be also wise to meet with your former employer to apologize and accept whatever penance you are given in order to get your career back on track.
