The LANGE 1 is considered the most iconic model of the A. Lange & Söhne brand and symbolizes the brand's relaunch after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Introduced in 1994 as one of four models, the LANGE 1 quickly became a symbol of German haute horlogerie. Its distinctive feature is its off-center dial. Asymmetrically, yet harmoniously, the dial, large date display, and power reserve indicator are integrated. This unusual design lends the watch an instantly recognizable individuality, deliberately setting it apart from the classic, symmetrical dials of many other luxury watches.
