Soggy weather doesn’t have to stop you from making memories!

This month we have been on a Lake District stand-up paddleboarding adventure with Jo Moseley and YHA which was an absolute dream

What a day on the water! The rain couldn’t stop us from having a magical time out on Windermere.

YHA Ambleside provided the perfect base for our sup adventure, entering the water on the slip nearby. We hired a board from Bowness Paddle Boards Ltd and used the drop off service for a hassle-free experience. This was Vicky’s first time on a stand-up paddleboard which was a success thanks to Jo’s expert guidance and safety checks. With the weather being a little unpredictable we stayed not too far from the shore. We made full use of the drying room facilities ready for the next day!
