Fun can turn to fear in a matter of moments. It doesn't matter how safe you think you are. It doesn't matter how many times you have done something, with no problems. There will always be that one time that everything will go terribly, terribly wrong.
This is one of the most terrifying experiences of my life, as I sat on the ground and watched helplessly as my little girl sat on a ride that was falling apart, with a friend. I am thankful that this friend was on the ride with my little girl and that the ride was safely stopped and they are fine. She tried hard to keep Little Miss calm and to protect her eyes from the leaking oil. We are all shaken, emotionally, but safe.
