Jesus’ withdrawal teaches us to resist—even when it seems the “right” or “compassionate” choice. Our focus must remain on God’s Kingdom: supporting it through preaching, witnessing about it, and praying for it to come (Matthew 6:10—“Let your Kingdom come”).
