Air Traffic and Navigation Services has confirmed that flight delays were experienced at OR Tambo International Airport due to staffing challenges at the air traffic control station. ATNS says measures were swiftly implemented, and it worked closely with airlines and airport partners to minimise disruptions. ATNS Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications Mphilo Dlamini says traffic has since cleared.
